What art means to me...

        Art has always been in my life. I do appreciate it now more then I did. I will admit when I was younger I didn't care about appreciating art. I didn't understand because no one ever really talk to me about the how much time, work, and everything an artist puts in to his or her piece of art. Somewhere along the line I think about junior high I really start understanding the value and the influence art has had on our society. Art for me is mostly self expression. I've taken art throughout my high school education, and will continue to. Art is an outlet for me. I use it every day. I like to scrapbook, clay, paint and draw.
